One of the only independent media outlets in Ireland ( a country swamped with obsequious media organisations sucking on the government tit) Gript media, have made it known that the national police (An Garda Síochána) acquired a court order that permitted them to contact Twitter/X and ask for access to all of Gript's DM's in order to ascertain who their sources may have been regarding an anti-immigration protest in the town of Newtonmountkennedy (as if it's any of their fucking business). Twitter X infact did not honor that request, but instead informed Gript that the national police service was in essence spying on them.

So the state is essentially spying on independent media in order to find ways to attack them.

Another example of how these cunts talk a big game when it comes to Democracy, but then work in the shadows to strangle descent.
