the koi fish is driven by dreams, it swims against the current, relentlessly pushing higher. once it reaches the top of the waterfall, it transforms into a dragon.
life’s greatest challenges are meant to forge us into masterpieces. we set bold goals, pursue excellence, embrace struggle — we know that, in the end, transformation awaits.
the bitcoin life demands patience, discipline, and unwavering belief. those who endure, who brave the ascent despite all obstacles, are rewarded—not just with wealth, but with the power to become who they are meant to be.
with courage, discipline, and an unbreakable spirit, we will rise. each challenge a step toward transformation.
one day, we will no longer dream of dragons — we will become

The cool thing about this spam filter is that the LLM provides an explanation of why it thinks something is spam, which i can include as a local reply to them email after my workflow marks it as spam.
The workflow so far is:
1. Feed in raw email -> generate analysis of if its spam or not
2. Feed in analysis -> get LLM to generate a single SPAM or NOTSPAM token by reading the analysis and making a decision
I then check for this SPAM token and mark the email as +spam and/or +analyzed with notmuch.
the tagging potential of this beyond just spam is huge. best of all its all local AI, so no need to feed my person emails to the openai machine.

going to see if local ai can efficiently manage my inbox. Thanks for the idea @Adam Curry

Bitcoin's 30-day volatility has only been lower than its current level 11.24% of the time. TLDR; this is a rare level of boring for bitcoin.

Nick Szabo is an incredibly underrated writer, his works are worth anyone’s time to go through.

Nick Szabo's 1999 paper on micropayments reveals that while tech lowers transaction costs, the mental burden of deciding on small payments holds us back. #AI #micropayments #cognitivecost #innovation. We need more intuitive interfaces to make it work!

Some bad analysis out there about the Apple antitrust case. The DOJ asserts there’s a premium smartphone market in the US that Apple monopolizes. That’s certainly up for debate—but it is important to keep in mind that subsegments of markets can absolutely be monopolized under antitrust law.

SCOTUS case of Brown Shoe Co. v US: “Well defined submarkets may exist which, in themselves, constitute product markets for antitrust purposes...The boundaries of such a submarket may be determined by…the product's peculiar characteristics and uses, unique production facilities, distinct customers, distinct prices, sensitivity to price changes...”

Also can we please stop referring to the iPhone‘s global market share in this context, which has no bearing on the case.
