Legacy social media is abuzz with the news that Twitter is partnering with Visa to enable peer-to-peer payments. To the inexperienced, Twitter embracing the value for value model could seem like a positive step. However, there's more meat to this story. Twitter has a history of censoring users. Why would anyone want their money to be subject to the same censorship as their communications? Better solutions exist.
