Many npubs don't seem to get that the things they're using and doing cost money NOW, so zapping someone providing services 2 sats and adding

in the comment just feels like we're being mocked, because the running costs are billing 10.000x-1.000.000x EVERY MONTH.

Bitcoiners have no sense of what things actually cost TODAY, and this is slowing adoption because people won't blink at spending $5 on something, but ask for 5000 satoshis and they're like,

How about, I give you 5 satoshis and you hodl it for 5 years, and then pay the bills? 🤔

Building independently, on an ostensibly open protocol with a King Maker, feels like playing an incredibly asymmetric game. As if the protocol were just some rich man's playground and you're the unpaid serfs.
