That time of year at my small rural school in Ohio. Senior class is 34 kids this year. Its "drive your tractor to school day" with a parade at end of day. About 50 tractors involved this year.

I know I am behind on sats for syrup. Had a traditional start this year of last week in feb. (Last 4 years was early at 1st week in Feb.) I have had seasons last 6-8 weeks. A Canadian friend of mine just discovered that some news links cannot be shared on centralized social media, due to the C-18 Online News Act.

That same friend actually said last week that he thinks Fidel's son is "doing a decent job dealing with Trump" and that "it's too bad he's leaving office."

It's interesting to see how much the Canadian news media can manipulate public sentiment. Ever since the "trade wars" with the U.S., they've been working hard to paint Fidel's son in a positive light.

It’s been interesting to watch some leftist Canadians, and parts of the media, try to spin a narrative that they and others are patriotically boycotting travel to the U.S.

In reality, most Canadians simply can’t afford to go, especially with the weak Canadian dollar making everything in the U.S. even more expensive.

It reminds me of the fat blue haired they/thems "boycotting" sex, due to Trump winning the election.

Just went out this morning. We will keep a fresh pitcher of maple sap in the fridge for the next month to drink, and I also make coffee with the sap. It's delicious. I always have good trees, giving 2-2.5% sugar.
