By now, I think about 90% of my time is consumed by maintenance and troubleshooting of the existing infrastructure and code. I must deprioritize it at times to introduce real improvements and perform refactoring. I think that I will start it from tomorrow, cannot continue polishing “the turd” so to speak, or it will just grow uglier and less maintainable 😂🤣😅🫡💩

I just replaced optipng with oxipng in hopes of better and faster compression for PNG files when uploading to nostr.build or blossom.band/media . Let me know if you run into any issues, but make sure that your source PNG is good. When you use free uploads, we will convert PNG to JPG if it lacks alpha channel (transparency). Otherwise you should be GTG!

Spent a major part of my morning troubleshooting and fixing various blossom.band issues. Was fun working with Primal folks, but we still have a few more issues to iron-out. Weekends, is when you do fun work, not mining fiat 😂🚀🥷

Does seeing other people fail or being sad makes you happy? All too often I see people proclaim how you should feel better when others fail or destroy themselves, or proclaim that you soon will enjoy other’s sadness. WTF is wrong with you? If someone is sad or suffering, it should never bring any joy to anyone, if you are even a little humane.

IMHO nostalgia should be used sparingly, otherwise if becomes counterproductive to the progress. As much as we feel like we miss something, we should just move on and focus on the future. It’s too easy to waste your live reliving past that you are fond of. Onwards! 🫡🚀
