A lot of my thoughts lately have had an undertone of: how do I defend myself against irresponsible and/or malicious software developers?

Software is a field where there are no limits to what you can potentially do, unlike physical crafts where you're governed by reality, and that makes people do some really stupid things. And then live a whole life of doing stupid things. And have a ton of users and worshippers who like the stupid things. And gain a bunch of power and authority by doing stupid things. And start abusing their power because of the stupid things. And make everyone else suffer because of the stupid things.

Like, maybe just maybe, don't be so irresponsible that you fall into the trap of wanting to take on the career path of an egotistical god king.
