Of all my deliveries, this is my favorite. This house was the childhood home of a very close friend, who introduced me to @Kingbee when we were at school in Auburn. She and he grew up in this neighborhood, known as the Founders section of our town.

TIL that when you go to your local feed & seed, you better friggin’ know what you’re asking for. Asked for fringe tree, they say, yes, I buy, plant, baby through 2 freezes, it lives. See several fringe trees beginning to bloom around town with different leaves from mine. Got on iNat and post pix to find wusup. I have the Chinese fringe tree, not the coveted American fringe tree which has longer more delicate flowers. The American is the last picture.

I worked for a plastic surgeon for about 10 minutes. He encouraged me to attend surgeries so I could comfort/reassure potential clients. I saw a number of surgeries: breast enhancement, belt lipectomy (really advanced fat removal for morbidly obese), liposuction (you’ll never be able to use your salad spinner again once you see this procedure). The most appalling is a procedure called lipomodelling, where he pulled fat from thighs/buttocks and injected it via a wand into cheeks, etc, to plump them up, (see Steve Wynn because I am certain he has had this done). Seeing the wand being manipulated about under someone’s skin is creepy AF. Then Doc presses a button, and presto, bloody fat from the salad spinner gets sucked into the wand and deposited into face. Your results are only as good as your doctor’s skills at jamming the wand into areas of your face uniformly on both sides.
